This is a '03 TL-S

K well I bought this car from a guy who messed around with the wiring and the lights. He put the corner lights into the highbeam slot, so when you turn on the lights to the first click the high beams would light up with the regular corner bulbs. So now im trying to put it back together and im having a problem. When i connect the highbeam connector the left side it shorts out and blows the fuses, but the right side is fine. Does anyone have this problem, or does anyone have the helms electrical manuel for the headlights?

Also when you turn on your highbeams, does it shut your foglights off?

Sounds like he tried rigging up ghetto DRL. I don't know the answer to the electrical wiring question, but I do know that turning on the highbeams shuts off the fogs.

 

k well i kinda figured it out..but does anyone know if there is supposed to be 3 wires connecting to the bottom bulb conncetor on the right side and 2 wires on the left side?!

on the right it has 2 reds and a black, on the left it has 1 red 1 black?!
