Help!!

when im driving at speeds of 30-40mph and when i brake, the steering wheel shakes. 8 out of 10 times it will shake. what is the problem here? balljoint loose? rotors? well i checked all 4 rotors and the 2 fronts are smooth. the rear has a couple lines in them. i purchased the powertrain warranty from acura when i bought the car so i want to know if its the balljoint so i can go get them replaced.

..those are signs of rotor warpage. Just because the rotor surfaces are smooth doesn't necessarily mean they aren't defective.

its most likely the fronts. try getting them cut, if its in the limits. thats the cheapest route.

go to the bm and click sponsored sales. u will see see them, then just pm them what u want. price depends on what brand and what kind of performance u want from a rotor.

Don't go too cheap or you'll just have the same problem again in a short time.
