Im not quite sure on the proper term for these things, but is it just me, or are these supposed to light up.... The letters and numbers "P R N D5 D4 D3 1-2"

If they are supposed to, any tips on a fix for it? I tried searching but found nothing.

yeah mind does sometimes, and i am serious its intermittent for me. it light up last night and now it doesn't tonight so something is messed up for me

 

bulb prob burnt out., pull on the black trim from even sides, then the silver trim, and u can take out the plastic part that has PRNDL, and swap bulbs.

I actually tried that yesterday and found the bulb. It doesnt seem to have any breaks in it..but I guess replacing it to be 100% sure wouldnt hurt. Any other things I should go over in case this doesnt work? Im about to hit up autozone and try my luck. thanks
