[B]Just a couple days ago my heater on my car stop working I checked the fuses everything seems to be ok? Should I change the heater control relay I haven’t taken it to a shop yet to pay that $80.00 diagnostic fee. Please let me know what you recommend. -Thanks

 

a little more info would help a lot!
what year car- mileage- was the temp guage doing anything but stay in the middle recently?
is it just the fan is not working- or no heat comes out?

A common TL problem is the power connector to the blower motor goes bad- whether dirt or what is unknown to me, but it fries the actual electrical connector.
You have to replace that part- and possibly the blower motor.
Check the DIY on replacing cabin air filter for help on removing glovebox to access the blower motor- its simple to get to.
If it looks fried- take it to an electrical specialty shop.
They will have the right stuff and skills.
Your average tech hates electrical probs- they are nightmare material for the untrained

If no heat comes out, but fan works- with engine warm and running carefully touch the 2 big raidiator hoses- use back of fingers if unsure
Is one hot and the other warm? thats normal
one hot one not- could be stuck thermostat.
Again- has the temp guage been funny recently?

 

The temp gauge is fine the mileage is about 135k 2000 TL, I spoke with someone about that has fixed this issue before and I think you hit it right on the head thanks for the info. I really apprecaite it. -Thanks
