Question Heated Seat ON All the time

99 TL - heated seat is cooking me. I know it is hot out there but it's kind of embarassing with my butt and the small of my back wet all the time. The seat is hot to the touch so the only thing I can figure out is that the seat is ON. I found a diagram in the CL forum and pulled fuse 4 driver's side and fuse 3 passenger side (I assume this common for the TL and CL). Any other fuses/relays I can pull to kill the power to the heaters? I suspect this has been going on for a while because the battery was dead after the car sat unused for about a week. And then I'll need it back this winter (live in Colorado - love the heated seats and traction control) so I need to figure out what is causing this. Bad heated seat relay? Bad themometer? Are these easily replacable parts or am I gonna have to break out the wallet and trot it into the dealer. Are there any diagrams available on the net? Thanks for the help and I have learned lots on this forum.

OK.... pulling fuse 4 driver's side had adverse in that the TCS and ABS lights came on... back to the drawing board... if this diagram is remotely close, it appears once I pull fuse 3 passenger side seat should be depowered.

and the two seats should be on the same circuit. I'm wondering if power is getting to heater from a souce that is not on the diagram. And as it is only the driver's seat with the issue I wondering if the 'circuit breaker/thermostat' shown in the diagram is the issue and if it is, where is it located? If someone has an alternate diagram I'd appreciate that too. Thanks.

This gets stranger.... I located the relay box and from what I can tell the #2 relay for the seat heaters is missing (sorry pic is posted upside down frm image on diagram)!! Oh the joy of a used car. So to sum up the #3 fuse passenger side is out and the heated seat relay is missing so there should be no power going to the heated seats at this point unless I have a short OR someone hacked the seat. I haven't pulled the switch (If I remember right when I had it apart to replace the stereo, the leads were fairly short), but at this point anything is possible. The next step would be to pull the seat out and check it out underneath and track the lines. I'm just a bit nervous about all the miscelaneous electrical associated with the seat. But this one has offically gotten whacky.
