heated seat

I noticed my heated seat, i prefer calling them butt warmers stopped working the other day. I brough new fuses and now the passenger side works but not the driver which is going pretty necessary when winter comes. Where can i get a new motor, and how much will it be?

the driver side gets butt and low back- the passenger gets butt only- side airbag sensor issues

often driver side loses butt section when wire segment breaks in heater
right about where a wallet puts extra pressure on it
Its like an electric blanket with wires running thru fabric

requires removal of seat and leather cover- a piece of wire- some solder- and Bobs your uncle!
See gen2 thread- been discussed recently/last 2 weeks- search for Heated Seat
real thread title is: heated seat fixed $3 successed

note- you cant run them on high all the time- that cause it to hit a temp over-limit switch and turns off until it cools down- then comes back on.
Not very good on system- its for warming the seats 5 minutes

then go to low- which has a sensor to keep seat warm by turning on and off on medium heat as needed

running both on high at idle is too much load for the battery/alt

It's not as bad as you might think.....about 8 amps total for both seats on high.
