Tried my heat this morning on 2002 TL, came out cool air kind of an anti freeze smell??? Any possibilities/costs associated?

personally i would say your heater core may have sprung a little leak, but i would suspect that you would still get some heat out even if you had a leak, it would just smell. any antifreeze leaks on the carpet by the firewall?

you could always try some stopleak in your radiator to try and seal it up but there are no guarantees.

it could have just been a fluke too. has it done it since then? what temperature was your engine at?
