Headlights not back on after highbeam

Hi all,

Recently I noticed that after I flash my highbeam, my driver side headlight doesn't come back on. It does turn on however if I were to turn the light switch off and then back on. Do you think some connector is loose or it's time to replace bulbs?

Thanks,

-- Sam

Hey FuriousSam, after "flashing" the highbeams, I'm assuming that you mean that the lowbeam isn't coming on your driver's side ?

Have someone else switch it on and off while you observe what's happening. It's easy enough to check the connector and HID unit for moisture or corrosion. Then try a known good bulb, if all appears to be ok.

Hi 3.2TLc,

Yes the lowbean doesn't come back on after I flash highbeam. Where should I be looking at on the headlight casing to see if there's a bad connection?

Thanks,

Behind the headlamp assembly....where all the electrical wiring connectors and components are located.
Not much room to work, check some other posts and the DIY's for tips on the headlamps.

Could possibly be a bad stalk switch ?
