Headlights

TLs and CLs probably have the worst headlights in HISTORY. the SECOND time i have to replace the god damn bulb. and no the glass around the bulb was not touched before installation so dont try that idea.

It so happens that its not the bulb this time, its the fucking inverter and ignitor and acura is asking 900 for P&L. i delicately told them to f*** off. 1000 for a headlight change? dont think so.

Im a little frustrated with my car lately. dumped almost 2000 into a "good car." before i drive it off a cliff someone please help me.

2002 acura tl type-s. does headlight assembly come with anything other than jus a plastic box for $150? do i need to buy the inverter and and ignitor separate?-

I would look into some aftermarket options brother...
You can pick up a new ignitor/ballast/bulb for MUCH cheaper than that.

Try DDM Tuning dot com
An HID kit from them (raptor) runs $29 and has lifetime warranty. You can access the back of your headlights by removing the front wheel and pulling back the fender liner.

Not too bad and you can do it yourself.

The problem with ignitor and ballast going out is more likely due to the condensation, not just from the rain, but they slowly get damaged after a car wash. Try after market HID slim type, and it costs just around 100 bucks or even less. Search here and you will find some answers. I've seen it here that some owners bought the car with aftermarket HID.
