i noticed my passenger side headlight is turning a lil pinkish (stock bulbs) does this mean the bulb is on its way out or is it the ballast???

the bulbs are not old at all. my lights were stolen about a year and a half ago so i got the replaced with new ones and i dont think the should be dying!

its about to blow out....this happened to me itll eventually get a purpelish color and then eventually itll turn off. if your car is under warranty acura will take care of the issue

your saying acura will replace the bulb for free? mine is purple too.

 

IF your under warranty and theyh deem it to be failing

 

If one is turning pink then in a while it will turn red which means that you would have to change the bulb. Dont go through the whole warranty thing. Search ebay for D2R bulbs and you can find a new pair of Phillips (OEM) bulbs for $50, goodluck.

 

I had the same problem as you about a year or so ago. I my car into the dealership and asked them what was going on with my bulb, come to find out the bulb was on its last breath. I was quite surprised since it had only been a few years since I purchased the car. I asked them if headlight bulbs were covered under warranty and they said no

Also. just make sure you replace your bulbs in pairs because you run a high risk of your new bulb not matching your old bulb as far as color is concerned.

 

The new one won't match the old one regardless. You should replace in pairs.
