i started having problem getting my 99 tl started about two weeks ago. it doesn't matter when but at times it takes about 4 to 5 cranks. does anybody have similar problem?

 

I had similar symptoms and it turned out to be the ignition switch.

There's an ignition switch recall for the 1999 TL. Has that been replaced under the recall? If not, Acura will install a new one for free.

And the replacements can and do fail.

My 1999 TL is on its third ignition switch.
