Had fun at the track day, but...TRANNY!!!

ok so went for a evening track session today

it was fun and all that, ran with some M3, Z4, RX-8, WRX...

but for the last few laps i heard my rear brakes squeals like crazy, i need new pads right now!!!

i went to the track with 10% at the rear, thought it would hold it but it couldn't, on the way home it just squeals like crazy whenever i brake

also the front tires are completely worn out!!! the Toyo T1-S is good, but the compound is too soft, it was chewed up and i see a lot of steel wires on the sidewall

and most of all....my TRANNY!!

when i left i start noticed there's a slip from 2nd to 3rd, and it wouldn't go away!!!

there's a slight rev when it change from 2nd to 3rd, give a half second delay, like going to netrual then back to 3rd

is that a sign of tranny bye bye? i need to cally my dealer tmr if that's the case, i will need a new tranny

Probably just too hot. Let it cool down before you drive it home next time.

i think the last thing the car will bail me out is the BBK, the tires and tranny bailed me out already

i just love them, and ppl who sat in my car on the track could feel it too, it's like whoa that is some serious braking power

Angry Dealership gave me shit for my tranny

ok so first thing to do when i wake up today is to change my squeaky brake pads

done that in no time at my garage and the pads had barely anything left

check the ATF fluid level and it's at the right level, but the ATF is burnt, the smell is not good at all

i drove too hard on the track and seemed overheated the ATF

drained and refilled ATF and see if it's getting better....but it was still the same

i realied changing the ATF won't help so i gave a call to my dealership that i been going for 3 yrs and they were giving me shit!!!

they said they cannot look at my car until next monday and if i need a new tranny i won't be getting a courtesy car

then i started to get mad and i told them if i don't fucking get a car don't expect me to come.

and they said "well just come next monday and let us to check out ur car first, u will get a car for one day and if u need a new tranny then we will work on that from that point"

WTF? i am not going to wait for that long since my tranny can fucked up in no time, and he told me well the timing is not right blah blah blah, giving me shit. and the loaner car has to be authourized by Honda Canada.....

then i called up my frd Evil John from TSX board and he works at Terrence Gate Acura as Service advisor and he will take care of it tmr morning.

see? having a frd works there makes ur life easier

just hope everything will be fine

You both need to sign up for the Speed Trial for October 22nd at Gingerman. It's quite a drive, yeah, but it'll be an awesome time. Let's see what you've got.

Registration isn't available yet, however.

That will happen.

Transmission coolers are pretty much useless for the purpose of prolonging the life, but it will help in keeping the transmission fluid temperature down on the track. Get one.

Eh, not really. Just a decent sized one. Find one about the same size as the Comptech one.

In fact, I think Summit Racing sells the same one for cheap... but the hoses aren't long enough, which are like 2 bucks at Home Depot.
