GPS Navigation moves 10x faster then car

Alright tried doing a search, but I either got too many threads or none at all. New to the site, so please forgive me if this is a simple fix.

This TL has a navi that goes about 1 mile in 10 seconds, when I barely cover 1/10 of that in that time frame.

I've tried a new GPS Antenna, and now seeking other TL members advice. Something doesn't make sense.

BTW, its an 01 3.2TL.

Can you describe the problem in a little more detail? Do you mean that your car's indicated position on the navigation display is moving faster than your car actually is moving? Is your postion updated at some point to the correct location?

Correct. The Car's Speedo is fine, the Navigation moves an extremely quick pace. It will relocate where I'm but within a second, I'm already further (navigationally speaking) then where I am. Thats why I thought it wasn't the GPS Antannea.

push the map/guide, menu and cancel buttons for about 5 seconds together. This should bring you to a diagnostics menu. Go to the tire calibration area and see if it set to auto. As go to the GPS part of it and make sure that all the systems are functioning properly

thanks cs- I need to fix mine- slight adjustment of actual position-

for crazed:
Turn on key- remove cd from nav unit in trunk
Check version number
Reinsert disc and close cover
Reboot system
go to www.acura.com and see nav section for latest release version
They need to be done now and then for software updates $200
or maybe your main nav unit is going- mine did back under warranty!

I have a different issue. Sometime my position won't totally straighten out. It looks like I'm going diagnol. Is this a Gyro issue?

I'm sure this is related to be the car being lightly bumped into on the left corner of the trunk area. This was before I bought it.
