Goodwill Tranny help (PLEASE!!!!)
Hey guys, I need some help! I've been searching on here for hours about the goodwill tranny replacement, and I just keep going in circles.
My tranny is going down the tubes quick and hard!
It is a 2000, that has 95K on it. When I got it at 67K, the recall work had been performed, but I believe that it is still on it's first tranny. Do I qualify for the goodwill? Is there any legal information I can show the dealer to help plead my case? If I don't have a prayer of getting a deal at the Acura dealership, has anyone had any experience with transmission doctors like Aamco? What should I do?
....and if the tranny going out isn't bad enough, there is a nice set of Tein SS coilovers sitting on the floor in my room that were going on this weekend

To find strategies for getting goodwill coverage, I would read the last ten pages or so of the Tranny Failure Thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-problems-fixes-117/tranny-failure-thread-566833/
Pay particular attention to the posts made by 01tl4tl.
And it's not a matter of "qualifying" for goodwill coverage. By its very nature, goodwill coverage is at the discretion of Acura. Some have received full coverage while others have been offered nothing. For the most part, Acura has been very good about this.
Good luck!
