glove box/dash squak noise

I am sorry if there is another thread similar to this one, but i did search.

Now to the problem.... I am sort of new to my TL, since i have only had it for about a month now... I have been noticing a rather odd noise or squak coming from the glovebox area. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I usually have my radio on, but some times its off or low and the noise starts to drive me crazy.

glove box door? does it do it while its open? have some one drive your car and you sit there and try to isolate the sound.

i dont really notice when it does it... it does it like at random times.... So whenever im between tracks or the radio is off i will ocasionaly notice it, sometimes its making noise more than other times, so its a little hard to have someone listen if its not doing it. But ill try to figure it out soon.

Mine has the same noise you mentioned and there's a bolt on the left side that was missing. The left side on mine had a bolt there, that's how I noticed one was missing on the right. I'm thinking once the bolt goes in it should stop the noise. I also put grease into all the fastners/arms with a needle tip for the grease gun.

Hope this helps.
