Gap in front bumper

I took off my front bumper to install my HID Fogs. Now there is a gap b/t the headlight and the bumper, maybe I never notice it before or I'm just being anal. I took off the bumper and tried to put it back on, from the suggestion that the clips I put on was slipped under creating the gap.

NOw the passenger side doesn't have a gap anymore, but I can't get rid of small gap on the driverside right below the left of the headlight. I made sure that the clips were on top this time. I'll try and take pictures when I get the chance later tonight

Any big problems with the small gap? Will water get in if it rains? Anyone else have issue getting the bumper back to factory after removing it.

I had a bit of a problem with my driver's side as well. I found that if you removed the headlight to install things, you have to make sure that when you re-install the headlight you properly angle the support brace underneath. It's the one with the two bolts, and how you tighten and angle the bolts will determine how close you can get the bumper to your headlight.

It's probably not been put back on correctly. I've taken my bumper off, and had two replacements. All put back on properly.

+1 for TheMegalodon.. if you're sure that the tabs are slid into the clips, try readjusting the screws/bolts that support your headlights. i had this problem when i blackhoused my lights, i tightened one bolt too much and it caused the headlight to not sit properly which created a gap.
i'm not even sure if you touched the headlights but this still might help.

theirs 3 bolts for the support brace. that will tell you how much gap you have between the headlight and the bumper, i did it yesterday to my drivers side bc as i looked at it closely their was a gap and teh passenger side was fine. when u took the bumper off you might have moved the brace down a bit.try moving it up a bit and see if thy helps.

Do you have a picture of the 3 bolts? Like a diagram? My back, knees and hands all hurt from trying to put the bumper on...

After i taken the headlights out a few times i learned you have to adjust those brackets a couple times. In other words if one corner is low just loosen bracket and move it up a bit and put bumper on. I use a tape measure to take the guess work out. Like Rajca said just move the bracket up it will make sence when you get the bumper off and see the bracket under the headlights.
