Front window defogger problem

Hey guys,
I've spent about a week (off and on) searching for an answer, to no avail.

I've been trying to troubleshoot my 99 non navi's climate control system for a while and I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. When it's on vent there's plenty of air flow. The recirc. and regular blowers work nicely and we have plenty of heat and a/c. When I switch to front window defog, the air flow path doesn't change. Another thing worth noting, only the driver's side floor seems to be working and the passenger side floor only blows cold air. The cabin filters aren't clogged and they look fine. Also, both motors under the passenger side dash seem to be operating normally.

All signs seem to point to a blend door issue? Many posts say to search for "blend door," but they all point back to the same threads with no constructive answers.

I have the service manual but not fully understanding the problem makes navigating that thing a nightmare.

Thanks in advance.

Cool Same Problem

Having the same problem,
if you find answer can you please post?
I have been told that could be the following:

AC FAN Relay Switch
Mode Actuator (motor)
Climate Sensor? (behind climate unit itself)

I am a newbie and don't know too much about it. Any help would be appreciated.
