Found a CDR!!
As we all know for the most part the 99TL does not play burned cd's, I was going through all my old cd's the other day and found one made buy ACER which has since changed the name to BENG/DAXON, and it actually plays in my car (the first CDR ever to play) Does anyone know where I can get these from?
I did alot of searching on the net and they are no where to be found.

Hitlayers, These CD-R you are talking about have been sold as a few different brand names. They were sold by Acer for awhile. Then sold by BENQ and Daxon more recently. It's supposedly the same product but with a different label, according to the forums I read on Club CD freaks. In any case, you also might want to think about what program you used to burn the Acer cd you are referring to and let us know.
And. Royal_Dragoon, what version of Nero are you using and what cd-r are you using?
TIA

Was it just the 99' that had this problem. My 2001 TL cd player over heats. My new HU comes today, but is it actually the CDr that wont play in the player or is it the player itself.

And it didnt matter what brand some of us used what speed we burned at, what software we used to burn with. Some of us just plain couldnt get it to work in our cars. What worked for some didnt for others. Its a hit and miss thing

Well i am using Memorex Audio CDR's and they work ok. They play fine but once you put the CD's in it takes a while to read them and play it and also if you wanna skip a song or something it takes forever to play that song.
Is their any other ways around it .......some people suggested a blitzsafe......but is their an adapter for the 99 TL out there??? ...........i am a big music lover and hate the fact that i can't play my freakin music
