Fog lights stuck on. HELP!!!
Fog lights stuck on. HELP!!!
So I'm back on here within a month with another issue which happens to be my fog lights this time around
So the other night I got in my car while talking on the phone with my brother for a couple of minutes before pulling out of the driveway to go to the gas station when I noticed that my fog lights came on. Mind you the only thing I did was put the key in the ignition turned to the first position only allowing the radio on. Thinking how strange it was I started playing with the headlight/turn signal/fog light switches only to find out that everything else works fine with the exception of the fog lights stuck on. So I pulled the keys out of the ignition and the fogs are still on. My next thought was the fuse so I popped the hood and located the 20v fog light fuse and pulled it out only to find that the damn fogs were still on. Electrical problems has always been my weakness in DIY mechanics so to say I was confused would be an understatement. In my annoyed state I let the fogs run hoping it would work itself out knowing I was running the risk of killing my battery. I wake up the following morning and car completely dead. I will attenpt to jump later today. But what the hell do I do from here?
Any suggestions please
?

Welp.. it's definitely an electrical issue. Are these aftermarket fogs? OEM fogs? Who did the wiring? Somewhere along the line it seems like the fog is finding a ground and as such, is on. We need more information to help you diagnose the issue but ultimately, you'll have to be our eyes and hands to troubleshoot.
also 20A fuse not 20volts..right?

what year TL? 99s and some later have a bad problem with the electrical/ back section of ignition switch failing- will cut out or turn things on when not wanted
Really exciting when ignition cuts out braking into a corner!
fogs were not stock until 2002 models
or look at low/hi headlight control stalk, also called turn signal stalk, it should have to be on for fogs to operate
Failure could be messing with fogs, but start with what year and is it main ign switch problem
