I thank those of you who have helped me with the other post (the shaking and vibrating issues).

It seems like my '03 TL needs to have new brake fluid and steering fluid. How much do these usually cost to replace??? I just want to get an idea so that I don't end up paying too much...

 

It's a simple enough job to do, but it all depends where you take it to have the work done.

In my opinion $100 would be a ballpark on replacing the brake and steering fluids. But, most shops will attempt to pad the final bill with other miscellaneous items. They don't like the small 1 hour jobs. Get a couple of estimates from local trustworthy shops.

Any brand DOT4 spec brake fluid 2 quarts, under $10 total

find small ad in phone book, honda acura listed as specialty
see if you can ask the tech `what is the correct bleed order for a TL?
driver front then clockwise = LF RF RR LR is the only correct answer
if they dont know that they dont touch your new baby!!
thats a different order than most cars
