Hi, I dont know if you guys noticed this issue. Whenever i go on Highspeeds, Over 80mphs i feel like my Car is FLoating. Not everytime, Only when there r Less cars and the highway is in an OPEN Area, not the city highway. Is it because of the Aerodynamics? If its some other issue, how will i be able to fix it.
First i thought it was becuase my 17" werent Straight because bends. But now i have Brand New 18"RDX wheels and same problem
Please shed a little light on it Experts.

 

If there is more traffic in front of you, you could be getting the drafting affect. If there are no cars in front, more air could be going under your car giving it a lighter feeling? Just throwing out ideas, heh.

By the way, I wouldn't call myself an expert :P.

 

yeah ur right But i drove my friend's bmw at the same speed/highway didnt feel that way.
Drove my friends Benz, Never felt that way same highway/speed. Even my Brother's 05 Corolla S dont do that lol.

 

maybe your konis are set too soft?

 

HmMMmm... never thought abt that... My Front Konis r on all the way SOFT and the rear 1 are in the middle. But even the softest settings on KONIS r firm than OEM Struts. But you have a good point. Ill try to make the a little firm and see what happens.

 

yea check your shocks. blown shocks give the floating feeling too but hopefully that's not the case.

 

Def. not blowin. i mean the the Koni Yellows should be blowin if dropped by Tein S-tech. however i put them on the LowerPerch.

 

my car never floated with stock suspension even at 150. Something isnt right. Either in your suspension or your tires.

 

it only happens in an open area right? that's aliens trying to abduct your acura for their research, but acura has built in anti-alien system.

if your car still floating, may i suggest one of these spoilers?

that'll give you enough downforce to hold for 200 mph

I think you are putting Koni in soon right? I have the setting All soft Fron and Middle in the back. Once you have can u do that setting and see what happens?
