exhaust is funny?

exhaust is funny?
Hey guys whenever I park my car my left exhaust is still smoking???
I don't understand why the car is off but the exhaust is somehow on?

moisture in it? Have you driven it on the hwy for a period of time lately to burn the moisture out of the system?

I have driven on the highway regularly......my mechanic told me it was just some excess fumes that get out as soon as the car is turned off?

But why just the left side? The exhaust pipe splits at the rear axle, so it must be moisture in the left muffler. Maybe there is a top-side crack on that muffler, and water is getting in there.
