Unhappy Exact Water Pump & Timing Belt Parts

Hey guys,

I want to get my timing belt / water pump changed. I was hoping to buy OEM parts to install in my car but I don't know exactly what I need. Can you assist?

I went to acuraoemparts.com to locate '99 water pump parts. As you can see in the link below, there are 26 parts, what exactly do I need to buy for my mechanic to replace my water pump & timing belt.

Any help would be appreciated.

On the link you have, you need the water pump, and these two: the timing belt and the tensioner which are not on the link.

19200-P8A-A02 WATER PUMP (YAMADA)

As usual - the parts are super complicated. I looked up the section for the timing belt in the following link, and there are another set of 25+ parts. I couldn't locate anything lableed tensioner.

Look under Camshaft/Timing belt.
# 5 is the belt (14400-P8A-A02 BELT, TIMING (197YU26 GB-323), #10 is the tensioner( 14520-P8A-A01 ADJUSTER, AUTOMATIC) (called and adjuster)

Here's what you need:

1. Timing Belt, 14400-P8A-A02
2. Timing Belt Hydraulic Tensioner/Pusher, 14520-P8A-A01 (optional, but highly recommended)
3. Timing Belt Tensioner Roller, 14510-P8A-A01 (optional, but highly recommended)
4. Timing Belt Idler, 14550-P8A-A01 (optional, but highly recommended)
5. Camshaft Seals (order two), 91213-P8A-A01 (optional, but good idea to replace due to inexpensive cost)
6. Water Pump, 19200-P8A-A02
7. A/C Compressor Drive Belt, 38920-P8C-A02
8. Power Steering Drive Belt, 56992-P8A-A01
9. Crankshaft Oil Seal, 91212-P8A-A01 (optional, but it's inexpensive and easy to replace once you have everything apart)
10. Valve Cover Gasket (order two), 12341-P8A-A00 (you should perform a complete valve adjustment at 105k so the valve cover gasket will need to be replaced)
11. Spark Plug Tube Seals (order six), 12342-P8A-A01 (whenever the valve cover is off, these should be replaced.)
12. Long Life OE Spark Plugs (order six), 98079-5514N (needs to be replaced at 105k service)

In soda's list, to do as you asked, you would need (his numbering) #s 1, 2, 4, 7, 8. All of the other is as needed or involved with different services. You can do those too, but what you asked will be satisfied by those I pegged.

Different parts for a 2000?

I'm trying to order the parts for a 2000 TL, most of them look the same, but I was wondering what the difference is between the parts below....

14510-PGE-A01
14510-P8A-A01

and the difference between

14550-PGE-A01
14550-P8A-A01

And which of these would be correct for my car?
