Hey all-
So wifey says all of a sudden our 2003 3.2TL starting running really rough (Monday morning just before I leave for work). I had her take to our local guy and the diagnostic says it's missing on all 4 cylinders!!

I just don't have the time to deal with this so I have to leave it the mechanic this time. Before I take a bath running on faith-any ideas what the "simple fixes" might be before accepting whatever speculative direction he wants to experiment with on my dollar?

Misfire could be spark plugs or the coilpacks. Try the plugs first because it is the cheapest route to go; if it still shakes, then you have to get the coilpacks, they are a bit expensive. Bad engine mounts also produce engine shake, but I doubt it since the mechanic said misfire.
