Whenever I start my car up in the morning....weather is about 45F as it's parked underground....I hear some engine knocking.....

minimal knocking...but still noticeable

any suggestions on how I can correct this?

I believe it happens only when the car is cold...however during the day I don't pay much attention when I start it up as I just want to get home at night....
