I am getting into alot of electrical work. What kind of tools do you guys have for electrical work? Did you buy kits from the Big 3, Snap-On, Mac, Matco?

 

iv never had the need for a big kit, just a good pair of wire strippers, electrical tape, some of those fancy crimpers and tools. soldering iron too, i can do a lot of stuff with that.

 

x2^ on those...Im no expert, and I'm not doing huge projects, but thats all I ever use.

 

keep it simple stuff, that will take care of you
multimeter, strippers, needle nose, quick connects, tape, liquid tape (awesome stuff)

As for electrical tools, I would have a pair of cutter, wire strippers, a volt/ohm meter, and most importantly an OBDII scan tool. The last is probably the most important "electrical" you buy for working on cars.
