Electrical Ticking Noise (UNDER DASH)??

I have a 2000 TL-p all stock low miles etc.

-Noticed a fairly annoying ticking noise like a clock when engine is running..I have power on and there is no sound but once the engine is turned over (Even while DRIVING)..the sound persists

-It seems to change when i accelerate medium-hard then returns to the usula 1 tick per second at normal idle (park) (Drive) etc.

-After about 5-10 minutes of driving the sound goes away...

-----There was some kind of alarm system that may not be stock..there is a led light on the fron pillar that flashes when car is locked???

I am simply confused as to what the hell this may even be..

Probably the EVAP purge valve solenoid. It's in the back of the engine bay, right at the fire wall on the driver's side, so sounds like it is coming from behind the dash. Do a search on here, and you will find lots of info including pics.

No, its under my dash..i felt the click when i put my hand under there. I have not had a chance to really crawl under there since its wet and has been raining.

-It seems to be some little plastic thing that is physically clicking..like a relay perhaps...I am not sure..

For me it was the mixer door motor on the pass side. Cut the car on and turn it from hot to cold and see if thats it. I think i did a DIY on this or there is already one.. not sure. very easy though if this is ur problem.

That's what I was gonna say. Under the passenger side. Yep. Easy fix.
