Today my 2000 TL's TCS light came for the third time in five months. Each time I was driving near 35th Ave and Bell Road in Phoenix. Turning off the igniton and restarting turns the TCS light off. Is it possible a local electrical emission is scrambling my TL's computer?

 

Does teh check engine light come on at all?

 

Not today. Twice before the check engine light came on and stayed on after I rebooted. That's how I found out Bell Acura wanted $685 for a new throttle body to "possibly" fix the problem -- which figure inspired me to wait and see.
Today I saw. I'd like to dare a fellow 00 TL owner to drive by 35th & Bell.

 

Put your AM radio on a channel between stations and drive past it. Just about any strong RF will affect it.
