A/T System Malfunction
There is a transmission recall on these Acura models, mine decided to go bad recently w.o. warranty after 5 years since the original owner replaced the transmission in 05 through Acura with warranty. I took it to a highly rated shop in my area. $3400 later A remanufactured Trans was put in, a week later I got check engine P0132 causes my car to have poor gas mileage and to lose power for about 30sec where the car just rolls and wont respond to accel. loses power like it wants to stall, then suddently power returns and happens intermittently as I drive. Same shop wanted to charge me $500 for o2 replacement. Ive been riding it out until I get a chance to lift the car and inspect wiring etc. meanwhile discovered my AEM cold air intake pipe had a hole on it somehow, so I cleaned intake system and converted to short ram with new filter and reset battery/deleted code however P0132 persists, now with intermittent TCS light. Lastly My Viper791xv alarm system wont chirp/sound off anymore even if I open a door with alarm enabled, since door lock/unlock and remote start functions are working. All of this has occurred since the trans. job. The shop claims not messing with alarm sys. or intake sys. Hmmm. :/ any input on either matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
your understanding of the trans warranty and recall is flawed- most but not all cars got 7year 9month/109kmile warranty-
doesnt matter if trans replaced under warranty several times
At this point in time and or miles, you are past the limits right?
3400 for a rebuild!!! and they screwed up other stuff, plus the trans wont shift=
needs to go back - could be a simple wiring switch or a major flaw in the rebuild
Or take it to another shop for an opinion- quick!!

you may need a front O2 sensor- could have been damaged or the wire for it messed up~
mileage drop would point to that, and back up the code
easy diy or any shop= NOT 500 dollars!!!
buy a Denso brand- thats the OE maker, so plug and play part, dont have to buy at dealer, any parts store sells them
reset ecu by pulling the CLOCK fuse on passenger end of dash for a minute
forces master reset and relearn/self test/new parts learn

kudos for a diligent search to find a 2005 thread with codes!
