2003 TL Headlight Dead

Hi, new to the forums...picked up a 2003 with 50k miles about 3 months ago and two or three weeks ago the maint light when on.

Last night, the right headline flickered when I turned them on, then went pink and subsequently died altogether. From what I have read, it seems like I only need to replace the bulbs. Is that correct or should I look at one of the full kits? I'd prefer to do just the bulbs unless there are any big drawbacks.

What type of light should I buy and where from for a good deal? I had seen in a previous thread mention of a sponsor sale. Anything similar still going on or likely to happen soon?

Thanks!

Also, how in-depth is the install process for replacing the bulbs or the full kit?

All you need is the Bulbs. Stock K is 4300. Stick with that to 5k. Nothing else will be as bright. Check our vendors for good deals on bulbs.

As for the Maint req light being on, the how to reset it is in the manual or in our DIY thread

mait light is simply the oil change reminder, which works off `miles since last reset`
not a guage of oil condition

cheap but work www.hidextra.com

just out of curiousity, one of the oem part states 4000 kelvin, that would work fine? maybe a little brighter as i have to change mine as well, as need to go ahead and get two while i am at it where they will match, also do you recommend going with the ebc ceramic and kevlar pads instead of factory replacement as i have been known to make panic stops at times, any decent reasonably priced rotor to suggest, any help in this matter would be most welcomed
