DVD Install
I have an 03 acura TL type S w/ Navi ... I want to get a DVD unit installed in place of my stock deck.... I went to the local stereo shop and the guy told me he needs to research on how to install a unit with the navi in it... the problem is no one knows how u can keep the navi workin with a new deck ( how to wire the deck and still feed the navi its power supply etc etc. ) ... he asked around and no one has the answer.... so he is trying to figure it out and so am i .... so if anyone can help me out it will be greatly appreciated!!

you will have more people help you in regard of audio/video. I converted from non-navi to navi, so I know a little about navigation system in 2nd gen. As far as I know, if you use an aftermarket deck, you would lose the navi voice. Some suggests that you install tweeners for navi voice. For the speakers, I think all you need is the Acura/Honda harness to connect to speaker wires and you can use stock speakers, however you would lose the sub, unless you have a seperate amp for the sub. Make sure check out the sticky section in the above link. I hope it's help.
