dual-shift problems-please help

Hey guys,
When I got in my car tonight, I shifted from automatic to standard, and it didn't switch over. The gear shift light didn't come on and it continued in automatic mode, even though it was supposed to be in standard. What happened? How do I fix it? Have any of you experienced this problem? I have an 03 TL-S!

when you pulled it over to SS mode, did you see the gear display on the speed panel?

Try pull out the power to the PCM to reset everything. If it reappears and won't go away, a trip to the dealership is the only choice.

yea, try to reset your PCM by pulling the harness out if you know where. Or unplug your battery for 15 mins, be prepared for navi and/or HU code.

i actually had this problem, but the d5 light was flashing and it ended up being a part being a part that was relativley inexpensive, less than100 dollars. It was called the something detent bracket but, it was actually a switch thats attached to the assembly, that must be replaced as a unit. i couldnt get a link here but go to the owners website, estore, parts catalog, chassis, select lever, and its #15 and its 74.76

Where are you located?

This may not be your problem but I thought I'd share anyway. This comes from the manual:

"If the transmission temperature is below 14F you may not be able to use SportShift"

So if it was extremely cold and you tried using SS when you first started, this could explain it. Otherwise
