Drivetrain Noise :(
Intermittant sound.. sounds like a fan blade interfarance issue which goes up in pitch with wheel speed and much more pronounced when decellerating/coast down (even if stick the tranny in Neutral) <=== Hoping not tranny which was replaced as part of the recall 37K miles ago.
Any ideas?

lets start with trans history--did you really get a replacement trans when you went in for the recall install oil jet kit?
If certain heat damage was found they will replace == but thats rare
If its a replacement trans: the bolt heads on many trans bolts will be painted BLUE
or did they install the external jet kit- tell you it was `fixed` and send you on down the road
If it was a 1/2 day job you do not have a replacement trans
for your noise: may be cv axle bearing, or wheel bearing
Any change if you make quick turns back and forth at 30mph
or click noise at super low speed and turn wheel fully?

I wuld check the wheel bearing. Have someone drive the car, and listen to each wheel. Fold down your "pass-through" armrest and stick your head in the trunk to listen to ethe back wheels. You'll hear it loudest by the affected wheel, if it's a bearing. I had a similar type hum/whine last year in my TSX and thought it was something in the powertrain. I also put it in neutral, just to see, and yep, it was still there. My sound was synchronized with the car's speed, irrespective of the engine RPMs (though, of course, RPMs and speed are usually synched, so it was hard to determine that at first. But after replacing the bearing, all is bueno!

RR wheel bearing is a common failure--see diy,,title says rr diy, because you will need it!
mine has been noisy for a while now,,that makes it harder to pop off and you get to replace other parts after you take the chisel to the ring
