ok car started to make a little noise. now it has gotten to a point where it just squeeks while i drive. Makes the noise when i drive up on speed bumps and while steering left or right. I thought it might be the shocks cause i pushed the car up and down and it squeeks, But didnt explain why it would make the noise while steering? so i looked it up and figured it will be a upper control arm soo.. i figure i should post the issue i will record it!! and do a follow up on what it is and try to record the repair work done by me and my buddy. i join this forum so yall can see the progress of my new project welcome to acuzine folkz i here to stay! ya when i got a chance imma go raise it up and check any play in the wheel? transmission seems to be real good.

 

i called the dealership just to get a price they want a 180.00 for the left upper control arm?? lol are the oe replacements any good??? seen places online alot cheaper so that might be the route i have to go

 

but i aint gonna buy anything til i lift the car and inspect everything

 

Ok me and my friend inspected the suspension and everything looked good no play in the wheel, the thing we saw was there was a pencil size hole in the axle boot im guessing real recent.. so we concluded that the hole was letting out axle greese and letting moisture into the boot and rusted so when cold it was makeing that noise but when warm or whatever didnt make any noise.. well on the way back home i didnt hear the noise so i guess it is only when cold?...
