Here the scenario: Driver's headlight used to work, but the headlight is burnt out, needs replacement. Driver's fog light used to work here and there, but now doesn't illuminate either. I replaced the fog, still nothing, checked fuses and relays, still nothing. Passenger's headlight and fog work fine. Both high beams work. There is a garbage Compustar alarm system on it, which I want to rip out, could this be the source of the problem? Any suggestions or advice?

 

Also, for some reason whenever someone sits in the front passenger seat, the warning on the dash, "passenger side airbag off", comes up. Any insight?

 

I looked through the owner's manual and found out it's a safety procaution. At least that's solved. Anyone chime in on the above problems please!

 

I've concluded that the ballast and/or igniter has gone bad. Is there any connection between the fog light not working because of this?
