Driver side mirror tilt not working

Hi,

About a month ago the driver side mirror stopped tilting in reverse. The right one works fine and the mirror control switch is centered as it should. The left mirror works fine when using the control to adjust it. All the fuses under the dash are fine from what I see.

ANy ideas? Bad connection in the door or something else?

^^ well, let's just hope he meant passenger side

If the p side isn't working anymore, try to adjust it up and down. Then move the switch back to center and see if it works.

I thought for sure that the driver side and passenger side self adjusted down - are you sur eonly passenger? I have manually and electrically moved the driver side mirror and it doesn't seem to wake up the tilt down feature (if it ever was there)?

The driver side mirror will tilt down ( all the way as an error )and stay there if you modify the memory seat position without setting it .....

You are absolutely correct. The right side per the owners manual tilts down. Since I recently purchased the car one of the memory buttons had not been programmed and the driver side tilted - anyway - thanks to all - nothing broken and nothing to fix
