Driver Side high/low beam out + condensation.

Hello, 2002 Acrua TL-S owner here with some head light issues.
So after digging around the forums for information it is pretty apparent that the water on the inside of the driver side headlight housing is the cause of the issue. I have not tested if both my high beam and low beam coincidentally died at the same time and it is not the waters fault(unlikely..).
My first concern is if I should buy the http://www.hidextra.com/9005/5000k/ HIDConversion kit. One of my coworkers believes that doing that is a terrible idea and I will blind everyone due to the nature of the reflective housing of the current stock halogen bulbs.

Secondly, being that there is water inside the head light housing what extra steps should I take to alleviate and prevent this issue.

Hey Egobypass, if it's only your driver's side headlamp that the bulbs went out on, check the fuses and relays first for
that side. If ok, then check the bulb connectors for signs of corrosion. If they appear to be ok, try replacing the bulbs
with known good bulbs. Should they work, possibly the headlamp housing needs to be resealed or replaced if allowing moisture to enter within the inside.
