Recently
I was driving home from work, my Left headlight just turns off by itself while the passenger stays on

What I did is I Turn off the switch and toogle back on and would work but then a few minutes the driver headlight just turns off automatcially
It mostly happens at random times when the temperature drops below 70 MOSTLY

Could it be the fuse?
Or the Oem ballast kit?

 

May be a poor connection or ground. Start with replacing the bulb with a known good one. Check the HID components for moisture or corrosion. Could possibly be the ballast/ignitor ?

 

I recently replaced my OEM bulb for the 8k I got from ebay
I did open up the headlights but no moisture got in...
hmm..

 

Hey TunaTheFish, if ya were not having that problem before you swapped bulbs,
then simply check the effected bulb and socket for a proper fit.

Maybe not making good contact or perhaps the retainer wire isn't on correctly ???

 

hey buddy same thing recently happened to me. My bulb burnt out and burnt through my headlight ignitor, check to make sure that hasn't happened.

 

Really? thats odd I just got these bulbs too...
