driver seat problems

I was wondering if anyone had these issues before? I noticed that the memory setting is not working in my car. when I went to the car wash they moved my seat and the memory setting did not work cause I had to move the seat back myself. I also noticed that when I use the switch to move my seat back it dosent go all the way it goes stops, and then I have to hold it down and do it over again, till it goes all the way back. If anyone out there has this issue or had this issue, any info would help me out thanks.

Thanks, I checked on there but I see only info for the 3rd gen, I was wondering if that solution also works for the 2nd gen? I was thinking it could be a fuse thats blown. Anyone else any info would help.

Did you try to reprogram it to see if it still does it?

Yeah I tried but nothing, it sucks cause the car is out of warrenty. What do you think could cause this, cause the passanger side is fine no problems. Can it be a fuse?

If it moves at all its not a fuse. SO does the lever on the seat adjust the seat fine?

Whats weird is the lever for the back and seat are the same way. When I put my seat back you hold it down and it moves, then stops. When it stops you have to hold it down again. Its annoying. Could it be the motor thats used for that function? This is the same for both levers.

they have separate motors. No the question comes does the switch control it directly or does it go thru the DPMS.
