When ever i turn on my headlights, sometimes the driver headlight comes on and sometimes it don't. The passenger works perfectly. I have to keep flicking the switch at least a few dozen times before it actually works. Sometimes i get lucky and it works on the first try? Can anyone help me please???

 

I was having the same problem. In my case my headlight assembly was cracked and there was a hole in it which allowed water to corrode my HID inverter/igniter unit. It is not a cheap fix. For an inverter unit from the dealership it was about $550 and a new headlight assembly it was $210. Installation of both was $205. I recommend taking it to a place you can trust and have them run some diagnostics on it. Try to get it fixed soon, I got pulled over by Arizona Highway Patrol because of it. Good Luck!

start swapping the bulb, ignitor, and ballast to determine what it is

 

I had the same problem. First one then the other HID lamp would flicker and sometimes not come on at all. I bought new ballasts (without the ignitors) and no change. Then I tried new ignitors with the old ballasts and they worked. Turns out it was just the (relatively cheap) ignitors.
