sorry if this has been covered? does the 2G have the adaptive tranny like the 3G? i barley get in the gas to accelerate, and the tranny kicks down when it really doesnt need to. i just had a new tranny put in 5000 miles ago, should i have the dealer reflash the tranny or is there a way to do it myself? thanks

 

If you mean on the freeway its coming out of overdrive to pass someone- doesnt take much for it to come out of top gear- then it will really kick down if needed.

reflash?- NO
reset ECU and make the car relearn all the parameters YES
remove the CLOCK fuse on passenger side footwell- about 1 minute then put it back in
Thats the master secret power to the engine computer

If it still feels wierd drop by the dealer and ask if the head tech-trans specialist, can take a quick ride with you

 

i mean just driving around town, it seems to kick down a lot more like the 3-2 shift. i barley get in the gas and it kicks down. thanks for the feedback, ill pull the fuse in the morning
