I recently got into an accident and I've been checking out craigslist for some parts I need to repair my front bumper. If I got parts from a 99 will it suit my 01? Above the front bumper holder is a thin metal that has become uneven and that must be replaced (at an aftermarket warehouse he called it a bumper filler). I also need a line that leads from the AC reservoir to it appears underneath the radiator. If anyone knows the name of these two parts also please let me know.

You have an '01 TL which will interchange with the '99 or '00 model TL's.
They have the same identical front end parts, so you'll be good to go. The '02 and '03 models have a newer updated front end and will not interchange with yours.

Just go to your local salvage yard and they'll fix ya up with used parts for cheap.

 

for the ac in addition to the broken lines- a NEW `ac receiver / dryer` is the part name
it absorbs moisture in the closed system -and when opened like it is- will be saturated with moisture = dead
Not too many $$ but get a new= not junkyard/auto recycler part as it will be in the same condition!

if you want to update the cars look the 02/03 tail lights fit

any damage to the headlight housings? may as well install a new hid system for the low beams- its old, and new will blow your mind- aftermarket only if smart~ 70 bucks will hook you up
