Do i need a hid kit for my fogs to look like my 5k bulbs?

Are these bulbs an easy way around the hid kit?

id stay away from hid bulbs that cost $6. get an hid kit for your fogs. you can pick them up for $100-$200 for some good hid kits

 

HID fogs are going to cost you more than 6 bucks. The cheapest route is LED bulbs, which some say arent a good alternative. If you want to "do it right" you will spend at least ~100 bucks for HID bulbs and ballasts.

those bulbs in the picture arent even hid's... they're halogens... you can't not have an hid kit if you want hid fogs...
