Disable Headlight On Warning

Since the car is equipped with auto off headlights, I find that I often leave my on, on purpose, if I know I'm going to be driving again in the near future at night. Is there any way to disable the noise when I open the door and leave the headlights on?

Thanks guys

im sure the chime can be. Its probably just a small module under the dash to pull. Its never really bothered me so i never looked into it.

At least 2g doesn't have the seat belt chime, newer GM vehicles turn down the audio on the drivers side so the seat belt chime is louder

ya, pretty much the chime just gets annoying since i'm purposely leaving my lights on. sounds like the consensus is that no one really knows how to disable it lol

I leave my running lights on all day, I have remote start and it flashes the running lights when remotely started so I just leave them on, headlights on at night, chime doesn't bother me unless I'm sitting in the car with the door open,

Remove the door push switch where the door latch is, disconnect the wire, and that will disable the chime; or do whatever you need to do to keep that switch pushed in even when the door is open; or run the wire to another toggle switch.
