Dimming headlights?

Is it normal for the headlights to seem like they're dimming over time? It seems that the low beams are almost useless at night at this point.
I do leave them on all the time - could that be a cause?
Is there a good/recommended replacement bulb manufacturer/vendor?
Thanks!!

yes these bulbs lose brightness over time
acurazine vendor Excelerate carries KAIXEN brand $109 per pair shipped
from the world leader research facility- they rock
5000k for close to stock color 6000k for way more blue but less white

first time

Well, yeah...
I originally signed up about the bad mirrors issue, but then really didn't need to post anything. I'm just leaving the car as it is, but now that it's finally paid off I can take care of the 'little' things it really needs (motor mount, new plugs, headlights, a windshield).... you know - little stuff.
Thanks for the replies!
