Debage problems!Remove super glue?
I removed the "3.2 TL" from my acura and it looks like the previous owner/dealer used some super glue as the adhesive! I have tried goo off, goo gone, alcohol, paint thiner, and it wont come off! I know that acetone dissolves super glue but it will surely take of the paint.
Anyone know of anything good that will remove all the glue but not damage the paint/clear coats??
Its really stuck on...
Thanks

paint thinner
use a pen knife, be careful.

i tested paint thinner on another car and nothign happend...but acetone took the paint right off...I think a pen knife will do more damage than help. The glue is old and it is easy to chip the paint when removing it....i need some solution to dissolve it.

scotch guard makes an adhesive remover that's safe for "most" clear coats. it comes in a dark blue can and i just picked up another can from wally world. i've used it to remove the adhesive on my tl-s and the left over residue from tint on my windshield.
