dealership probs

My girlfriends transmission just went. The dealership said the only way her 100,000 mile warrenty will cover it is if she can prove that she has been servicing it. Is this bull?

that is BS...its a warranty, so it should be covered no matter what since the tranny failure is not related to any maintenance work. Go to this website and it'll update you on our trannies.

call Acura Customer Care at 800-382-2238, press 5
tell them that there is a dealership that refuses to repair the tranny b/c of that reason. They should be able to help you out.

The small print for the factory warranty requires that regular maintenance be performed according to the maintenance schedule. If the tranny fluid is long overdue for replacement, the dealership has all the right to refuse warranty claim. That's why everyone should keep records of all services and maintenance works.
