Crash! Worth saving?

My son just ran my precious 03 TL in to a phone pole

I want to save it but not sure it’s worth it. I’m perfectly comfortable swapping parts but no experience with frame or body damage.

can you take a look at theses pics and let me know if I’m crazy for trying to fix?

engine still runs. Power steering is leaking. One of the arms is broken and the wheel is pushed pack.

Money

Practically anything can be saved/fixed, but money is the issue. Doing it yourself with some shop help? Sure. You’ll need to cut out and replace the crumpled ‘crumple zone’ of your fender support. That’s likely the big ticket item here. Suspension parts add up fast. Top it all of with exterior skin/bits…. I suppose if you have a donor car that was damaged in the rear you could eventually put it all back, but sadly, imo it is a salvage project for either long term or big money.

Sorry for your car loss. Glad your son is ok.

Sorry to hear. My '03 TL was totalled by insurance in 2018 with a lot less damage to the front driver's side. Still miss that car sometimes...
