Cooling Fan Control module
You may have had faster luck searching for the 2nd Gen Factory Service Manual, which was a recent topic brought back up in the main 2G Forum. See link https://acurazine.com/forums/second-...manual-946126/. It would be wise for you to keep a copy.
Now, on to the question at hand. The answer seems to be that the [cooling] radiator fan control module is in the center of the dashboard, above the radio.
As for whether or not you should get rid of your car. He drives one. You might want to keep yours so you can be favored at the golden gates...

This is good stuff. Thanks once again. Before I go tearing my dash apart, ( am not looking forward to that). I should get your opinion on what the problem really is.
Neither fan comes on when expected. I can drive for an hour sometimes before the overheat occurs and the radiator fan will not come on. The gauge goes to half way but some times to 3/4. If I keep the heat on high it seems to stay at half. Sometimes after shut down the fan runs for about 10 minutes. Both fans work when the A/C is on.
I have replaced the fan switch, temp sensor, thermostat, radiator cap, fan and condenser relays, coolant and hoses. The only other thing I can think of is the fan control module.
Thanks in advance.
