constant stalling after warm engine

I'm getting pretty aggravated with my current situation on my 03 TL. Car starts up fine and drives great, but when engine warms up after pulling off the highway, it stalls at almost every red light. There were CEL codes for misfire so I changed all 6 spark plugs and coils. Did seafoam treatment in vacuum, oil and fuel tank. Also cleaned out the EGR ports and the Idle control valve with carb cleaner. The CEL code is now off after resetting but I'm still getting constant stalls. Its really bad with the AC on.
I'm thinking of selling of it and getting a 3G TL

I thought it was only 99-01 TL that had this problem, but have you tried the ignition switch?

Sounds like you have a loose ground cable somewhere. You need to narrow down the problems and tell us more what you found. Is it injectors problem, fuel pump problem, etc.

there are only 51K miles on 'er. I'm not sure what the 105K service involves. I did replace the plugs and coil as well as the air filter.

There are other related ground cables connected to the car frame also, not just the battery ground cable.

still no resolution. I'm making an appointment with the dealer next week. I was trying to avoid this at all cost.

Hi taxrefnd :

I'm assuming there are no codes as you mentioned the not CEL coming on. I'm thinking it might be the ignition switch because it's very common and the of the lack of codes which is typical for a bad switch. When it stalls out, look to see if the green key indicator light is flashing. This usually means the key switch is sensing the key is left in with the ignition turned off unless the contacts in the switch are sending a false signals due to being shot.

Good luck.

car has been fixed and hope this helps others with similar problem. Took the car to the dealer and the plugs and coils all tested fine. They mentioned that the timing belt tensioner was seized and has caused the camshaft to skip 2 notches and put the timing out. They replaced 2 tensioners and while there changed the water pump and timing belt. All is perfect now. He mentioned that since the car low miles it must have been sitting for an extended period. Costly, but now fixed.
